Hello my name is Angela and I am very happy to be working at Village Hair Company. I graduated from the Aveda Institute in 1992. In my experience, it is great to be working in a salon that has so much to do. For instance, I am excited about doing spa services as well as hair care. The possibilities are endless in both. Please come in and experience this fabulous salon.

Hello my name is Brianna. I have been an employee of Village Hair Company since the summer of 2004. This was my first job right out of beauty school and I have been here ever since! I attended SPA, a school in Plymouth, Minnesota and was educated in not only hair services but spa and nail services as well. I love doing hair not only because I get to meet great new people and chat ... but also make them feel and look beautiful and boost their confidence!

My name is Jeanne Link. I graduated from Hastings Beauty School in July of 2001. I came to Village Hair Company right out of school and have watched the salon grow into an unbelievable success over the years.
My favorite things to do are foiling, cutting and styling. However, when it comes to doing hair, I love it all! I definitely have a great passion for doing hair and making people feel great about themselves.
I look forward to our first make-over together!

My name is Kara Anderson and I started at Village Hair Co. in January 2007. I am originally from Hutchinson, MN and I moved to Minneapolis in 2006 to attend the Aveda Institute, graduating in 2007. Living in the Cities is great—it's so much different than the small town I grew up in!
I am fortunate to have been able to start my career at a place like Village Hair Co. I like working in a salon with a small town feel. Cutting and coloring are my favorites because the results can be so dramatic. Meeting new people and making people feel better about themselves makes this a rewarding career. I hope to see you soon!

Bonjour! I am very excited to bring my flair for relaxation, therapy, and body restoration to Village Hair Company. I have been trained in Swedish Massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage (great for cancer patients), Geriatric, Respiratory, and Neuromuscular techniques, Deep Tissue, Pregnancy, Shiatsu, Fusion Stone, Sports Therapy, Reflexology massage, and Myofacial release.
I consider my ability to design a specific body treatment for each and every guests specific needs to by my specialty. I truly believe that each guests needs and preferences are different. My goal is to meet those needs and preferences on every visit to make every experience the best!
I came to Village Hair Company after a brief visit to the city of Toronto to further my studies. I had the privilege to work at the 2008 Toronto International Film Festival. I earned the #1 requested massage therapist title and was able to work on some really fun celebs!
Come and see me and all the talented staff at Village Hair Company for a taste of the best in Minnesota.

I graduated from Minnesota School of Business in 2004 and have been practicing massage therapy ever since. Massage has taught me so much about caring for our health and our bodies and I feel I am very lucky to be able to share my knowledge with others. I was extremely fortunate to have been recognized in the Plymouth Magazine form my work in massage therapy and continue to strive for excellence with every client.
While I specialize in therapeutic masage and specific muscle work, I have also found relaxation massage to be a very important role in our every day physical and mental health.
I am very excited to be a part of such a great team of people here at Village Hair Company and look forward to improving your physical and mental health through massage!

Growing up in a small town in western Wisconsin and graduating from Hastings Beauty School in 2006, I am excited about working at Village Hair Company. I like Village Hair Company for the team oriented environment that allows me to grow as a cosmetologist. My passions in the salon are haircuts (men and women), highlights, facials, and body waxing.
Since being at Village Hair Company I have attended numerous hair shows and advanced education classes. I have attended the Redken Symposium at the Lake Geneva Resort, numerous advanced styling and haircutting classes sponsored by our distributor. I have also been certified by Aveda Corporation in Aveda Color, body treatments and facials. I look forward to my very successful career at Village Hair Company and cannot wait to see you!

Welcome guests and clients.
First of all, to introduce myself, I am Shawn Manley the owner of Village Hair Company. I have owned Village Hair Company since May of 1999. I bring a little over 13 years of experience, in the beauty industry, to the Nokomis East Neighborhood and Village Hair Company.
I have experienced many things in the beauty industry that have led me to my current passion of salon ownership and stylist mentoring. I have been involved in many hair shows, charity events, worked in some great salons with unbelievable mentors to me, involved with many local musicians and actors as well as the love of doing hair! I continue to expand my training by attending many beauty shows and classes such as the Las Vegas Redken Symposium, Aveda Master Jam in Kansas City, Redken Expressions show, the Redken Exchange in New York City, and numerous classes on salon management, ownership, haircutting, and coloring.
I grew up in the small town of Walhalla, North Dakota. Yeah, small town. I then attended a couple years at Moorhead State University as a theatre major before finding my calling as a hairdresser and eventually a salon owner.
I have found many challenges owning a small salon in a big city market but they have been very rewarding. These challenges have not only pushed me to grow my business but have also made me grow personally in no way I could have predicted. I probably couldn't have done any of this without the support of the best staff an owner could ask for. Staff that has stood behind me no matter how stupid they felt my ideas were! Let alone my partner who has stood by me through a lot as well!
I couldn't have done this without all of you! Thank you to all of you for bringing my crazy ideas to reality and make them work. You know who you are!
I look forward to seeing you at Village Hair Company! Thank you to all of our clients for your constant support!
